The Problem
Safety data has been collected and needs to be evaluated and presented to determine problems and solutions.
Solution Plan
Create an eLearning opportunity that could be used as a learning event or just-in-time learning.
The audience includes safety managers, often male, with limited computer experience.
Have learners follow a safety manager with example data, learn about pivot tables, and create a pivot table. To make the course efficient, learners can follow along with the same data or their own.
Add some knowledge checks at the end that can be used for those taking the course as a learning event but are not in the way of managers who need to gain and use the skills immediately.
Tools used
- iSpring software within PowerPoint
- Camtasia
- Microsoft Excel
- Canva
- ChatGPT
This eLearning was created for an iSpring contest with a few parameters. This was also my first experience with the iSpring software.

Before jumping into iSpring, I started with an Outline.
The outline includes many results from conversations with ChatGPT. The iSpring contest had a specific time frame, so the outline remains rough and usable for creating the course.
